Been a great day (and I don’t say they often). I’m tired, in a good way. Got one of my flowers beds (mostly) cleaned out from leaves and weeds. Bough 4 new flower plants that I got in the ground. Only an azalea left to plant. Put out cosmos seeds. Mulched my herbs (some new some came back from last year. Hulled fallen tree limbs to the curb for big trash day. Had time to sit in the sun and finish a book 📖 I’ve been reading and maybe got a little to much sun ☀️ Here are some flowers around my home.

Year 3 for our Peach tree and we finally have fruit! Now I hope the peaches grow and mature and I’m able to get them before the birds do!

Hi nostr, we got back from our trip to Austin safely. We visited some family and went to see a bunch of 8 yr olds play soccer, and i wish we hadnt gone. These family members we went to see have triplets, 2 boys and a girl. My husband and i were both appalled at their behavior, in public no less. The boys each had episodes of melting down during the game, and started screaming at their mother, and one of them ran to her and started hitting her. She tried to calm him and he yelled "shut up mom!" at her. I could tell she was embarrassed, and her husband just tried to ignore the whole thing. We've seen these kids do this at our house while visiting us. Its like the inmates running the asylum, truly. Do many parents let their kids do this nowadays? I cannot fathom how these two grown people can allow 8 yr olds to behave like this. What the hell is happening to families? Anyway, just needed to vent about this. I hope all of you had a better day. #grownostr #FamiliesInCrisis

Pro tip:

To clean up pet “accidents” on carpet use a shop vac.

Take the filter out. Then use a solution of hot water and a smige of soap. Scrub the area with the solution wetting thoroughly. Then suck it out with the shop vac. Then repeat.

Just takes a couple of cycles to clean the carpet very well.

CashApp. Super easy! You’ll have to link CashApp to your bank account (I originally got the app to send gas money to the kiddo). It’s become a great tool as you can see the current Bitcoin price after you’ve bought for the first time. It’s also easy to transfer what you buy in CashApp to a private wallet.
