Making Satoshis Don't Exist Movie.

1/7

I'm making a documentary!

Satoshis Don't Exist.

The film will explore the counterintuitive and obscure design choices of #Bitcon and how this affects how we built things on top of Bitcoin.

I did about 3 takes per scene, so not that many :)

Btw I bought a total of 400 keys for this video :P

Interesting data from Matt Ahlborg (h/t to nostr:npub1pu5pjm8dzqjtul8t84a3jsehh78jreadp297sqa3as98c5hfym0qu6pn0a for pointing it out) on twitter re: payment type usage stats *in El Salvador* via bitrefill:

Over 70% LN is pretty remarkable!

Also notable (even if, not very surprising) is how different these stats are from the global stats - see upthread for those.

Oh i did not knew that tweet embeds are supported.

(using iris fwiw)

How many types of maleability can you name?

Saylor sounds like the dumb character from a ‘90s hacker movie.

Cyberspace, digital energy, monetary battery.

"Our highest insights must – and should – sound like follies and sometimes like crimes when they are heard without permission by those who are not predisposed and predestined for them."

Nietzsche

I really like this one.

This threads pretty good. Starts as claiming Satoshi didn't come up with the 21m hardcap, then Peter Wuille (BIP42 author) drops in to set the record straight.

Oh yeah I remember reading this a while ago.

Happy BIP42 day!
