The technocratic psychopaths that are behind the puppets that we call government are not going to stop. We are the carbon they are planning to reduce. Climate change is a hoax, and the so called 'experts' are shills sending humanity into a steep decline. Agenda 2030 is another part of this heinous plan.

Hachiko: The Story of Japan’s Most Famous Akita Dog.

Hachiko was born in Tokyo in 1923. The next year he was adopted by Hidesburō Ueno, a professor at the University of Tokyo. The two would end their day together by meeting at a train station in Shibuya, in the heart of the city. Hachiko would then follow the professor home. Though only a year into this routine, Ueno died suddenly, suffering a cerebral hemorrhage. Hachiko kept their dates, however, showing up nightly at the station for what observers began to think of as a vigil. It was one of Ueno’s students who first wrote Hachiko’s story, publishing at least one account in a Tokyo newspaper.

From there, Hachiko’s legend was set. It’s arguably the most famous of the countless canine loyalty tales that seemed to sprout around this time, all with their own regional bent. The oldest of these is perhaps equally famous. It’s Greyfriars Bobby, the Skye Terrier who lived out the last 14 years of his life guarding his owner’s grave in Scotland (though recent evidence disputes some of the essential facts of this story). The Pacific Northwest, where I’m writing from, has its own loyalty tale, Bobbie the Wonderdog, set around the same time as Hachiko’s life.

The Towering Tribute of Rome: The Column of Marcus Aurelius and Faustina

Standing majestically in Rome's Piazza Colonna, the Column of Marcus Aurelius and Faustina was erected around 180 CE, likely commissioned by Emperor Commodus in tribute to his father, Marcus Aurelius, and mother, Faustina. Modeled after the earlier Trajan’s Column of 113 CE, this monumental structure commemorates the military successes of Marcus Aurelius against the Quadi along the Danube River between 172 and 175 CE.

Rising 39 meters above ground, with an additional 7 meters of its base extending underground, the column once reached an impressive height of approximately 51.95 meters, topped by a statue—presumably of Marcus Aurelius himself.

The column’s interior is hollow, featuring a spiraling staircase that, in ancient times, led to a panoramic viewing platform at its peak, though access is now restricted to the public. Historians believe that a temple dedicated to the deified emperor and empress may have once stood nearby, completing the tribute to Rome’s esteemed rulers.

The Austrian National Library in Vienna is one of the most beautiful libraries in the world. The Baroque Grand Hall houses over 200000 historic books.

The impressive Grand Hall is almost 80 meters long and 30 meters high, and is crowned at its center by a mighty dome.

The riotously colorful fresco by court painter Daniel Gran shows the "becoming a god" of Emperor Charles VI, who commissioned the construction of the library in 1723. This also stands hewn in marble in the center of the central oval – directly beneath the dome.

There are other 16 statues of rulers and nobility of the Austro-Spanish Habsburg family.

The Azure Blue Indoor Pool at Hearst Castle.

The Roman Pool at Hearst Castle is a tiled indoor pool decorated with eight statues of Roman gods, goddesses and heroes. The pool appears to be styled after an ancient Roman bath such as the Baths of Caracalla in Rome c. 211-17 CE. The mosaic tiled patterns were inspired by mosaics found in the 5th Century Mausoleum of Galla Placidia in Ravenna, Italy.

They are also representative of traditional marine monster themes that can be found in ancient Roman baths. The statues are rough copies of ancient Greek and Roman statues. One such copy represents the “Apoxyomenos.” Statuary was used on a considerable scale in the Baths of Caracalla.

The pool and surrounding room, which were built from 1927-1934, can be compared to an ancient Roman bath. The pool, like the baths, is located indoors. Its water was heated as in a tepidarium. However, in Hearst’s complex there were no hot or cold baths as there were in the ancient complex. The Roman Pool complex was designed to contain an exercise room, sweat baths, a handball court and dressing rooms.

The Roman Pool is decorated from ceiling to floor with 1″ square mosaic tiles. These glass tiles, called smalti, are either colored (mainly blue or orange) or are clear with fused gold inside. The intense colors and shimmering gold of the tiles combine to create a breathtaking effect. The designs created by the tiles were developed by muralist Camille Solon. The inspiration for some of these designs came from the 5th Century Mausoleum of Galla Placidia.

Hearst was affected by the beauty of the mosaics in the mausoleum and incorporated similar styles into his Roman Pool. The walls of the mausoleum are marble but the vaulted arches are composed of blue and gold smalti. The roofs and dome are covered with mosaics of night blue, powdered with stars. The Roman Pool is similar to the mausoleum with its blue and gold color scheme and stylized star patterns. It differs because marble was only used in the statues, not on the walls, and there are no religious murals.

Decorating the Roman Pool are eight marble statues. These statues were carved starting in 1930 by Carlo Freter working in Pietrasanta, Italy. They are rough copies of ancient Greek and Roman statues. The statue of “Apoxyomenos” is found near the east side of the building. “Apoxyomenos,” also known as “The Scraper,” is a statue of an athlete scraping dirt and moisture off the underside of his right arm. The original bronze statue was created by the Greek sculptor Lysippos c. 320 B.C.E. Because Lysippos’ work does not survive, Freter worked from an ancient Roman copy of “The Scraper” found in the Vatican museum in Rome. Freter faithfully copied the Roman copy but also completes the statue with the addition of the missing strigil (scraper) and the missing fingers of the outstretched hand.

Graham Hancock is very interesting, and you could also check out his latest Netflix series too. Much is speculation but, the obelisk were probably made by basic tools and some ingenious methods.

The ancient Egyptians use to heat the giant obelisks with fire to soften the granite then they used simple tools like a 5 pound round stone to break up the granite that came from the Egyptian Quarrie's. This is how the ancient Egyptians would quarry and cut granite for the obelisks when using simple tools.

'Don't You Want Me' by The Human League

Did you know?

https://youtu.be/uPudE8nDog0

The song that almost never was – "Don't You Want Me" by The Human League – became one of the most successful singles of the 1980s, despite its own lead singer fighting against its release. This synth-pop classic topped charts on both sides of the Atlantic and helped usher in the Second British Invasion of American pop music.

What makes the song's success even more remarkable is its humble origins. Lead singer Philip Oakey found inspiration in an unlikely place: a photo-story in a teenage girl's magazine. He transformed this simple story into a dark tale about power dynamics between two people – specifically, a man who discovers a cocktail waitress, helps make her a star, and then watches their relationship crumble.

The song's iconic duet structure wasn't part of the original plan. After seeing "A Star Is Born," Oakey decided to transform his solo piece into a back-and-forth dialogue, recruiting Susan Ann Sulley – one of the band's teenage backup singers – through what she called "luck of the draw." This decision would prove pivotal to the song's success.

The recording process itself was full of peculiar moments. Oakey recorded his vocals in the studio bathroom for better acoustics, while band member Jo Callis would occasionally reach through the window to flush the toilet, adding an element of chaos to the sessions. The song's famous guitar-synth melody was actually the result of a happy accident when the studio computer played the line half a beat out of time.

Technologically, "Don't You Want Me" was groundbreaking. It was the first number-one hit in both the UK and US to feature the revolutionary Linn LM-1 drum machine, a device that would later become a favorite of artists like Prince and would help define the sound of 1980s pop music.

The song's timing couldn't have been better. Released in late 1981, it coincided with the launch of MTV, which was desperate for content and heavily featured British music videos. The cinematic video, directed by Steve Barron (who would later direct a-ha's "Take On Me," and more notably "Money For Nothing" by Dire Straits), was inspired by French New Wave cinema and depicted a film-within-a-film concept that helped set new standards for music video creativity.

Despite its massive success – becoming the UK's best-selling single of 1981 and reaching number one in multiple countries – Oakey remained skeptical. He had initially fought against its release, considering it a "poor quality filler track" and worried it would ruin the band's credibility. He only agreed to its release if the single came with a large color poster to give fans better value for money.

The song's legacy continues to evolve. It has sold over 1.56 million copies in the UK alone, making it one of the most successful singles in British chart history. It's been covered numerous times, used in advertisements (much to the band's chagrin), and even adapted by football fans. In 2022, Rolling Stone recognized its enduring influence by including it in their "200 Greatest Dance Songs of All Time."

Perhaps most importantly, "Don't You Want Me" helped establish synthesizer-based pop as a legitimate commercial force. At a time when the Musicians' Union was trying to ban synthesizers out of fear they would put traditional musicians out of work, the song's success helped prove that electronic music was the future, not just a passing fad. The Dare! album (which this song is a part of) was recorded entirely without traditional instruments.

The Human League was asked to perform on the American music show Solid Gold where they were to perform this song with the famous Solid Gold Dancers The band refused for the seemingly simple reason that they had their own dancers.

While Oakey has since admitted to being proud of the track, he maintains it's "not a love song, but a nasty song about sexual power politics." This complexity beneath its catchy exterior perhaps explains its enduring appeal – it's both a perfect pop song and a darker commentary on fame, power, and relationships.

Ronda is located in Andalusia, Province of Malaga, Spain. It is situated in a mountainous area about 750 m (2,460 ft) above mean sea level.

The Guadalevin River runs through the city, dividing it in two and carving out the steep, 100 meter deep El Tajo Canyon upon which the city perches. Ronda was founded by the Celts in the 6th century BC. and later used as a fortified fortress by the Romans during the reign of Julius Caesar.

The city was part of the Visigoth reign until 713, when it fell to the Arabs, who named it Izn-Rand Onda (city of the castle) and made it the capital of the Takurunna province. In the 15th century Ronda fell to Spain. The Punta Romano (also known as the Puente San Miguel) is the oldest of three bridges that span the canyon.

It is set in and around a deep gorge spanned by an impressive bridge, which brings in many day-trippers from the Costa del Sol and other places to admire the view.

However, Ronda is also a remarkably pretty town with beautiful architecture from the islamic period up to the 19th century, romantic winding streets with white-washed houses, some interesting museums, and lots of good places to eat and drink.

It is also a good base to explore the surrounding area, where you will find beautiful mountains and many of the iconic pueblos blancos (white villages) of Andalusia.

Christopher Nolan's Memento (2000) is a cerebral thriller that takes audiences on a unique, disorienting journey into the fractured mind of Leonard Shelby (Guy Pearce), a man with short-term memory loss searching for his wife's killer. The film's brilliance lies in its narrative structure: it unfolds in two timelines, one moving forward in black-and-white, and the other moving backward in color. This approach mirrors Leonard's condition, allowing viewers to experience his confusion and sense of dislocation firsthand.

Nolan’s non-linear storytelling style isn’t merely a gimmick; it’s an integral part of the film's thematic exploration of memory and identity. The disjointed chronology compels the audience to piece together the plot just as Leonard does. As new information is revealed, assumptions are constantly questioned, creating a sense of suspense and urgency that keeps viewers engaged.

Guy Pearce delivers a remarkable performance, capturing Leonard’s vulnerability and determination. His portrayal brings a depth of empathy, making Leonard’s plight relatable even when his motives become ambiguous. Carrie-Anne Moss and Joe Pantoliano add layers of complexity as figures who might be either allies or manipulators, adding to the moral ambiguity.

The film's cinematography by Wally Pfister accentuates its unsettling tone, using shadows and stark contrasts to create a moody, almost claustrophobic atmosphere that complements Leonard’s fragmented psyche. Meanwhile, David Julyan's haunting score underscores the film's tension and unease.

Memento is a landmark film that challenges traditional narrative techniques and raises profound questions about trust, perception, and the reliability of memory. Nolan invites audiences to engage actively, making it a rewarding experience for those who enjoy psychological mysteries and non-linear storytelling. This mind-bending thriller demands—and deserves—multiple viewings to uncover its layers.

🎥Midnight Cowboy (1969), directed by John Schlesinger, is a groundbreaking and haunting film that explores themes of loneliness, friendship, and survival in an indifferent city.

https://youtu.be/5zHVFXorF38

The story follows Joe Buck (Jon Voight), a naive Texan who moves to New York City, dreaming of success as a hustler, only to be confronted with the city's harsh realities. Alongside him is Ratso Rizzo (Dustin Hoffman), a frail but streetwise conman. Together, they form an unlikely friendship, bonding over their shared struggles and loneliness.

The film’s portrayal of Joe and Ratso’s relationship is deeply moving, a bittersweet connection that blossoms amid the coldness and rejection they face. Voight and Hoffman deliver iconic performances, bringing vulnerability and grit to their characters. Hoffman's "I'm walkin' here!" line has become legendary, capturing Ratso's defiant resilience against a world that constantly overlooks him.

Midnight Cowboy is also notable for its gritty, unflinching look at urban life, emphasizing the disillusionment and despair lurking beneath the surface of American dreams. The film's stark realism, unconventional storytelling, and Schlesinger’s skillful direction push it beyond a typical drama. With Waldo Salt’s screenplay and a haunting soundtrack, including Harry Nilsson's "Everybody’s Talkin'," the film is an emotional journey that lingers.

As the only X-rated film to win an Academy Award for Best Picture, Midnight Cowboy shattered taboos, addressing social issues rarely seen on screen at the time. It remains a classic not only for its boldness but also for its poignant depiction of human connection in a world where people often feel invisible. The film’s legacy endures, continuing to resonate with audiences today for its depth, raw honesty, and the beauty it finds amid life’s harshest moments.

-THE ISLAND LIFE-

Having attained the age of thirty Zarathustra left his home and the lake of his home and went into the mountains.

In the opening line of *Thus Spoke Zarathustra*, Nietzsche presents Zarathustra’s departure from his home and his journey into the mountains at the age of thirty. This moment is highly symbolic and marks a significant transition in Zarathustra's life and philosophical development.

- Nietzsche specifically chooses the age of thirty to signify a moment of maturity and transformation. In many traditions, the age of thirty is seen as a point of adulthood, where one moves beyond the youthful phase of life and enters a more serious, self-reflective period. For Zarathustra, thirty marks the end of a phase of personal development, a time when he has accumulated wisdom and insight that now requires expression.

- This moment can also be seen as a kind of "rite of passage," a threshold where Zarathustra leaves behind the comfort and security of home to embark on a path of self-overcoming and philosophical exploration.

- Zarathustra’s departure from his "home" is symbolic of a severing from the traditional values and societal expectations that may have shaped him in his earlier years. Nietzsche often speaks of the need for individuals to break free from conventional, inherited beliefs in order to become true to themselves and create their own path.

- The "lake" could represent a source of reflection and calm, but it also symbolizes the stagnation that Zarathustra must leave behind. Water, often a symbol of the unconscious, is where Zarathustra has spent time pondering and contemplating. Now, he seeks a new, more active role in the world, and the mountains represent a place where he can access higher, clearer understanding—distanced from the distractions and comforts of the world below.

- The mountains are a key symbol in Nietzsche's philosophy, often representing a place of higher understanding, solitude, and elevation above ordinary human life. Zarathustra’s journey to the mountains signals his quest for wisdom and self-realization.

- In the context of *Thus Spoke Zarathustra*, the mountain represents not only a literal physical location but a metaphor for the heights of philosophical insight and personal transformation. It is in this solitude that Zarathustra comes to understand himself and his role in the world. Nietzsche often emphasizes that great thinkers and philosophers must separate themselves from society in order to truly think and create new values.

Zarathustra's departure into the mountains is part of the broader theme in Nietzsche's philosophy of the individual seeking higher understanding through isolation and self-exploration. Zarathustra is not simply leaving his home in a literal sense, but also stepping away from conventional values and the comforts of society. In a way, Zarathustra’s "exile" is one of choice, a deliberate act of self-overcoming. The solitude and silence of the mountains are conditions that allow Zarathustra to reflect deeply on life, to develop his vision, and to prepare for his eventual return to the world with a new understanding.
