Principles are getting more listeners for Bitcoin content. That being said this is about use of time. I don't think posting on Twitter is doing much because I don't have a blue check and I'm not setting one up. I'd much prefer to donate $10 to bitcoin podcast then set up a blue check.

How does that disqualify it from being staking though? This is a normal function of staking
I think this is a semantics arguement but I'm not sure. Stake based chains can usually revoke the staking process as well. When a party would close the channel the software would just update the relay software to stop offering the incentive. Call it staking or liquidity incentives or whatever else but seems like the same result to me.
I'd argue opening a lightning channel is staking it to the other node. You're locking funds into a time lock contract between you and that other party. This is just adding an incentive layer to that staking process.
It'd be interesting to see a new project make a value to staking Bitcoin. Instead of whatever *staking* process today's mempool filler is what if the staking is just opening a channel to a lightning node. For so many X sats it whitelists your npub on a nostr relay. If you stake higher amounts then it adds additional features like bostr or NIP-96 space.
These shitcoiners are smart...I didn't even know there was a staking project on Bitcoin until an hour ago...kinda smart marketing budget just running up mempool
