We are not open source for now.
We plan to introduce an open source “event signer” mobile app for iOS & Android.
You will be able to use it to store your private key securely and give access (and deny it later if needed) to Nostr apps on your phone.
It will be overall more secure than putting private key to different apps and also much more UX friendly for new users.

Out doing some exploring of nostr ecosystem again today, this time with https://plebstr.com/#home
I went straight for the APK download. I'm on Android, so with nostrgram being dead in the water and Amethyst doing Amethyst things, Plebstr is an app for Android that I wasn't aware existed until today.
First impression is WOW, this interface is slick. Smooth and buttery.

It is an indication where in the post are the quotes/media mentioned so you get better context understanding of the post.
But we want to improve it in the next versions (not showing them if they are at the end of the post, etc).
This update also includes:
-“follows you” tag on profiles
-better pictures & profiles loading
-improved text formating
-improved threads loading in post detail
-added option to zoom to profile pictures
