Bitcoin, golf, and drone enthusiast. Carnivore currently. but I love sourdough. I mine fiat in the hotel world. Looking to help Bitcoiners take over that world

Adding to these AWESOME thoughts...

What if GameStop used part of the Bitcoin it adds to its balance sheet to become the "GitHub" of open source gaming integrated into Bitcoin, and seed part of the initial Bitcoin earned by gaming?

They could then partner with nostr:npub10pensatlcfwktnvjjw2dtem38n6rvw8g6fv73h84cuacxn4c28eqyfn34f to have devs apply for grants to build new games and start the "NOSTR" of gaming

Then other games will either have to adapt to Bitcoin standard of gaming or die 🏴‍☠️🤘

I've turned down several jobs that tried to lure me away with more pay, but when pressed it became apparent that more pay meant more travel away from my wife and kiddos. It was an easy pass for me. I don't get on a plane unless there is a family or friend on the other side without my family. Some work does involve flying to see customers that have become friends.

I can tell a big difference on mental clarity since being consistent with creatine everyday. Had a little too much fun with wife and friends on Saturday. Sat in sauna for 30 minutes and had my normal creatine and felt almost normal on Sunday

interesting...been way more consistent with creatine everyday might have to try it with hydrogen water.

Bought one and putting it into action tomorrow...will report back if it is hype or the real deal

I have to go to Vegas in August for a work event and not looking forward to it.

Busiest convention centers in US were left off the list...

Orlando's is number 1

Chicago Mcormak place is number 2 (terrible because of unions)

Las Vegas and Orlando go back and forth as easiest place to host a conference based on overall cost lift/hotels/F&B. As a hotelier happy to assist in future BeefSteak needs

I have a screened in porch that checks that box for me. Grill, gas stove, refrigerator, fire pit, TVs to watch golf and college football, and a pool to create great memories with my kiddos.

This was this afternoon watching the Masters while my son got after it in the pool

All the greatest spelunkers are dead. That data point is enough for me to give it a hard no

Thank you nostr for being so nice to the autistic girl with a special interest in St. Louis City architecture & history!

I know you’re tired of me and my STL posts.

Anyways, here’s a before/after of the Harpos, and iconic Mississippi Nights music venue. Now a parking lot that is always empty

“Los Angeles had the Whiskey a Go Go, Troubadour and the Roxy Theater.

New York City had CBGB, Studio 54 and the Palladium.

St. Louis had Mississippi Nights.

Mississippi Nights, appropriately promoted as "The Music Club of St. Louis," operated from 1976 until 2007 and was located in the historic Laclede's Landing section of downtown St. Louis at 914 North First Street.” RFT Times

Also posted, a photo of a ticket for a nirvana show that was at the venue.

Here’s an oral history of the night, as there was zero photos of it.

RFT Times

“Thirty years ago, on October 16, 1991, Nirvana played its first and only St. Louis gig at the beloved and now-bygone venue Mississippi Nights. It was a clear and cool autumn Wednesday when the trio of Kurt Cobain, Krist Novoselic and Dave Grohl pulled into the late, famous Landing night club. - What happened that night has gone down in St. Louis history as one of those legendary gigs, a show that now everyone claims to have attended but only a lucky few actually witnessed. From the start, the crowd erupted into a cacophony of blood, sweat and passion as slam-dancers and crowd-surfers ransacked the pit, stopping the gig more than five times before Cobain got frustrated or inspired (perhaps both) and invited the whole audience onto the stage mid-show.

Naturally, the crowd enthusiastically complied, with chaotic results. Gear was stolen. The fire marshal was called. Grohl booked it backstage and giddily watched as anarchy engulfed his fellow bandmates, who were pinned to the walls with their instruments, and a near-riot broke out.”

What a story! #stl

The Urge at Mississippi Nights was always a BANGER. Was so pissed when they made it a parking lot.

The Blue Note in COMO is still a great old venue to see a show

Top down on Bocephus for the drive into work.

Corn is still cheaper than the mileage on him. It's a great day to be alive!!

Off to the fiat mines!

Time to get after it

That was when we started fading as a society. Tallow fries should be the standard

We do not live in vacuum!

FRICTION IS HOW WE MOVE FORWARD

physics + math = truth (Bitcoin)

I didn't realize you could go up the arch until we went on a school field trip in middle school because we couldn't afford to pay for it. My parents always found a way to have fun and that McDs was a big part of it on our trips to the "city"

I loved that McDs as a kid. Was always a treat after a visit to the zoo
