Hey #nostr friends. I’ve launched a new project on @Geyser. It’s called @tiroah!

I’m super excited! It’s been a dream of mine to open some type center of education. I’ve always had ideas but there was always a missing piece.

I didn’t want to open it the traditional way because I didn’t want to deal with the red-tape of legislation and administration at the local and state level.

I’ve worked in higher education for over 15 years. I’m fully aware of the issues and it’s time for an overhaul!

I honestly want to create a place where learning and teaching happens in an open way without fear of censorship. In addition, I want to create a space that gives students and instructors the ability to teach and learn in their own way allowing for independence. A place that embraces academic freedom and challenging others’ thoughts and opinions respectfully. Most importantly, a place that allows students to pay instructor directly in Bitcoin.

Tiroah is a big project that will require a lot of work and funding. But I’m up for the challenge! I’m looking forward to this new frontier of higher learning. ✨

My tour guide told me a lot about Mauritius. It was great to listen to others tell me about their native land and share knowledge about the history. I truly enjoy speaking to the locals and learning from people. If you travel internationally, I encourage you to do the same. 🫂
