Took a night time cold medicine last night and between it, the head cold and pure physical exhaustion I overslept. Hoping this caffeine clears the cobwebs, I've got a train to load today.

When filling the bucket every couple inches of scrapes sprinkle some bran. The tricky part is just like sauerkraut you have to make sure air does not make contact with the scraps or mold will form. What you want to see is just a white “mold” form. You can use a plastic bag and some kind of weight. I got tired of that and I bought one of those lids for a five gallon bucket that has rubber sides creating an air tight seal.

Haven't been feeling 100% but I got some work done in the house last night. Took some ceiling down in the kitchen and found unsupported, sistered ceiling joists. I am constantly amazed this house still stands

and hasn't burned down.

I see clearly now, the rain is gone. 🎶🌅🌊
