Good morning nostr, its monday again, a new day, a new week to take even a small step in moving your life in the direction you want to go. For me that means trying to set things up that will save me a little time and work later. I want to install a few more water faucets closer to where i use water frequently, and also tweak my sprinklers that i've installed over the last few years. Todays pond report is the start of a sprinkle. We’re not getting so much rain that I was able to skip watering the garden, but enough that a get to hear the little patter of raindrops in the woods.

Anybody know how to get these little black circle things out of a handheld radio? I presume they hide screws that need to be removed so I can open the radio to replace the screen.

Super proud of my wife, who passed her #AmateurRadio Extra class exam last night — and minutes later, volunteered to teach a Technician class this fall, and asked about becoming a VE.

She loves to teach, and she's good at it. Her students are lucky to have her as an instructor, and I know that will be true for #HamRadio as well as mathematics.

And now that she has a 2x2 call, she's more interested in getting on the air. She didn't particularly like her 2x3. 😀

Good morning nostr, we have some errands to run this morning, then i need to do some more weeding. Lately we've been getting short showers, just enough to encourage the weeds, but not enough to help larger trees. I've also noticed lots of little herbs and plants popping up all over the place, things that i have had planted in pots. Dont think i've ever seen so many little volunteers of things i like. Today’s pond report is green! Something is down there making ripples too, but I can’t identify it.

My garden has zucchinis & cucumber flowers. Tomato flowers & peppers are growing. I am ready to pick some kale & lettuce. Don’t know why I like winter so much. Summer gardens are the best.

Good morning nostr, its starting out to be another steamy day, and we've got a good while to go before we get any relief. But i'm looking forward to my walk with the dogs, then i need to water my plants and harvest another batch of peppers.

Every day i'm grateful that we can produce a little bit of our sustenance right here on our place. Its not alot, but we wouldnt starve either. Simply having eggs is a huge deal when you think about it, because eggs are chock full of nutrition. Went with my BOB (bottom of the bags) jar for my first cup this morning. Had been working through a bag of 1/2 medium 1/2 dark roast, but needed something a little lighter this morning.

So much brighter on the tongue IMO.

Do you prefer a light or a dark roast coffee more?
