Primal iOS users, we need your input! 🫡

Assuming you’ve already upgraded to the latest 1.2 build, what are your top requests for the next release? Which new features would you like to see in Primal? What are the most annoying bugs that still need to get fixed?

Latest build fixed the annoying keyboard bug.

One thing I noticed when updating is that my custom zap amounts got overridden and I needed to change them again. I think there was a minor update of primal today or yesterday and this one kept my custom amounts.

Features:

1. Bookmarks

2. Gifs (uploading a gif makes it a static image).

3. Being able to see list of people that zapped, liked a post.

4. Custom notifications would be nice. Selecting some events that can notify you on the iOS level.

5. Zap stream integration! Would be great to watch zap stream from inside Primal on iOS. Being able to comment/zap and if possible play the video/audio on pip/background.

6. Maybe a macOS desktop client? 🤔🫡

All in all, it’s an excellent client and the evolution has been quick and it has been very exciting following it.

I get a kick out of ECB people saying Bitcoin failed because nobody uses it to buy anything. I use it every day to buy stuff. Soon they will eat their old shit words.

I wonder if you could also manage to do that here in Germany. I sometimes think there are almost no Bitcoiners here. 🙄

Kind of. Morel ike, "yes for the hyper-industrial part of life".

One reason I want to say no more, is so that I can spend more time learning. Less output, to make room for more input.

One of the most important things I did throughout the first decade and a half of my career was say "yes" to almost everything. I always erred on the side of leaning in, doing more, expanding the number of things I'm doing, etc. It created a stressful flood of over-work, but it also expanded my connections and capabilities dramatically and was worth it.

But it's also important to know when things are filled up. When too much expansion turns into lack of focus. When quantity gets in the way of quality. Eventually the number of requests became too much, so I started having to say "no" more. My default was always yes, so it took time to learn how to say no.

Going forward, I plan to get better at saying no, and to rein in my focus toward a smaller set of things. I'll still be doing quite a lot, but sometimes the stillness between actions is just as important as the actions themselves. It makes those actions more deliberate and impactful when they occur. Quality over quantity. Focus over expansion.
