With #Australia looking to introduce identity verification for social media use, NOSTR may be the only truely free form of social media
When we compare the internet to #Bitcoin and #crypto adoption, we are at just under 6% of the global population. At a country level, that is very different.
The US is currently in the chasm where technology adoption usually stalls, trying to find a product-market fit ready for mass adoption. Interestingly, we have crossed that chasm in five countries: the UAE, Singapore, Turkey, Argentina, and Thailand.
It's a data point that points to a more bullish case for Bitcoin and Crypto. This year will see the US cross that chasm, and we are seeing signs in the political sphere there giving me confidence of that outcome.

I’m increasingly seeing this graphic. It appears that #bitcoin is at the same stage of adoption as the internet in 1999. I believe that we are earlier than this is. Why?
My guess that I’ll explore in the coming weeks is that in 1999 many countries, like those on the African continent didn’t have the technology foundations to be included in the demographics of internet adoption. Today however with the internets ubiquity and bitcoins ability to operate in a ‘light’ way without the internet means that almost everyone on the planet can adopt.
What does this mean for this graphic below? It means that as a % of the available population, #BITCOIN is actually at a lower % than the internet in 1999. Some may think this is bearish but it actually means that we have significantly more upside than most are thinking.
I’ll publish an article on this and provide a revised adoption position on my Substack on the coming weeks

How did we go from the us going to war over a 2% tax and Canada now introducing a 66% one?
