Here we have Casa Carbonell, Alicante, Spain
The history behind this building is both fantastic and tragic at the same time. It is a story of a rich merchant who got denied a place in a hotel next to this spot. He sought revenge by buying the land next to it and building this grand building to literally overshadow the small hotel. But in the end, the merchant died before it was completed.
