It doesn't really matter if there's a serious disease or how much it is spreading it not now, we have already shown the government that we can easily be talked down to and forced to comply (we meaning as a society) they could literally announce a new disease that has affected close to nobody, as long as they create a stur in the media about it, a lot of people will just listen.

One time the teller wanted to sell me on some interest saving accounts. And I asked her what the interest was and if it would beat the current rate of inflation. I saw the light bulb turn on, she soon realized it wasn't a good investment.
