The end of an era. SUM41s last ever single released. 27 years of music ended.
Sum41 was one of the few first rock bands i ever got into growing up. Very influential in my taste for what composition made a great song. Prolly why I enjoy both screaming and singing in songs more than any other genres. My teenage years were formed by the lyrics of many of these tracks on Does This Look Infected? Then they followed up with CHUCK.
I've only ever gotten to see them live one time. Glad i did. Derek and Co. May you ever find success in whatever it is you're doing with your lives now. Your music has helped me and shaped my life, I'm sure there are thousands of others who'd agree. Here's to getting older.
