Just checked... on 15m we got abotu s2.5 noise (thats no preamp or attenuator on). Meanwhile on 40 meters with no attenuation or pre-amp on im seeing s4 noise.
this is no filters or anything. I am in the middle of the city with an antenna on my roof... so noise isnt that surprising.
Made my first contact on my new antenna... 15m band, 1400 miles (PA to Texas).
Cant wait until this evening to see how well it does on 80 meter!

What do you mean you want to understand 'what elements are explicit to race?' It's how it is arbitrarily & disproportionately applied. Those reasons will change, it's not just bc of white norms. That part was never in question (as I pointed out in my original quote)... the fact that racists apply it unfairly is not the least bit in doubt and I stated so.
The point is a law being racist or not is seperate from if the law is applied racist or not. If murder is made illegal and you only arrest black people for murder, then it is applied unfairly and in a racist way. No one would argue we need to strike murder from the books as a law because it is a racist law, of course not, instead we try to address the racism in one way or another.
By comparison a law like segregation or slavery is **inherently** racist regardless of if it is applied by someone without racial bias (as the law itself is racist).
Thats the question here, the original article claimed the law itself was unfair and racist, this part I was confused on (though now i can see reasons to justify this thinking). The fact that it was also applied in a racist way as the article claims was something i explicitly didnt question.

I agree with you, as I stated in my original reply as well they are wrong, biased, etc... that was never in question. What I am trying to understand better isnt how it is biased, or unfair.. but rather what elements about it are explicit to race... I got that answer from another person who instead of attacking me and calling me a sealion actually bothered to make a sincere attempt at answering that, and they had a good answer: because it assumes a white cultural norm (long hair being unprofessional) that does not exist in other cultures. And thus is written to specifically enforce the rules of a white culture... it was a good answer... just a shame people like you were derailing an honest productive conversation.

Well more or less yes.. the company is seized, and they are compensated with either money or shares in the new company (which of course can be sold for the money).
Were you suggesting stealing the money from the investors completely and leaving them with nothing? Even if we seized large companies to replace it with a government owned equievelant, obviously we would have to pay the owners a fair market value to do so (which is how its always done).

My bio says I live in the Netherlands (its old i just spent 2 years in israel but i still have my Dutch home)... Why are you assuming our misunderstanding is because of the US? For the record I have spent the majority of my life living around the world, usually move to a new country every few months or years (though NL is a permanent fixture for me). I have lived in most european countries, worked, got health care, all the stuff.
For the record though many europeans sometimes use socialism wrong too.. for example (as has been stated by multiple prime ministers) there are no socialist countries in europe only social-welfare capitalist countries. Which is accurate.

Absolutely.. Being ont he left does **not** mean every single one of your policies needs to be left leaning. If the majority are on the left, then you lean left.
Nixon and Regand certainly had more policies on the left than most modern day republicans. But the bulk of their policies were still right. So it would be completely accurate to say Nixon and Regan where on the right, but closer to the center, than many of those in the GOP today.
More importantly, to solidify this, those int he GOP may see some of his policies as left, but most (at least the ones with more than 2 brain cells) woul be educated enough to still identify the fact that these people were right of center.

It has been a very very long time since i used any of those sites (not cause of my GF thats only the last year, i just got sick of the low quality results)...
That said I remember on OKC that live chats were very ineffectual. Id have to send off a **lot** of messages to get responses.. maybe like one out of 30, and most of those didnt last more than one or twho exchanges... one in 50 might be a long term exchange
But the slower messages I seem to recall having more responses. I think this is more true for men cause the slower longer messages show more effort and the chats feel "lazy" as if a guy is just casting a wide net.
I can also say no matter what the medium if allyou do in response to a life is say "hi" or "hi, how are you" you will not get many responses at all.. If you lead with something interested you get way more. I have literally had women ont he service tell me multiple times they dont reply to just "hi" and only respond to people who make an effort in their first message.

What do you mean “it didnt” … it literally did.
Bussing was enacted and segregation broken. White and black kids went to schools now based not on their race but which school was closer as it should be)…
Now the reason people sometimes claim it failed, incorrectly, is because white people just moved to address this. White and blacks started to move closer to the good schools to try to game the system. The rich wound up at good schools again, the poor at poor schools again. People sometimes use that to claim it failed.
In reality it succeeded.. because while the it may not have managed to get the the rich and the poor to mix, that was never the goal. The goal was to force the black and the white to mix, which is exactly what this did. First they were mixed because the districts overlapped… then they mixed because both black and whites who could afford to move both moved to rich districts. Causeing equal oppertunity by skin color and ultimately mixed race schools.
The issue now was that while it had its intended goal of mixing the races, now we have mixed race rich kids seperate from mixed race black kids. Thankfully (sarcastic) since society cares more about your race than your income this meant people actually cared about the abysmal school conditions for poor (white kids) so now white people actually were forced to care enough to start wanting to see previously all-black schools get funding.
Fast forward a bit more time and the busing worked twice over… first to get whites and blacks to mix, then again by getting funding to the now mixed schools.
We have the hindsight of history and can see quite clear it had the intended result, because its history now.
