I had a coworker who grew up in north china (jilin), he said during elementary school (late 90s) he had class field trips to north Korea -- the trips made him to appreciate home a lot. I think he mentioned there was no running water/sewage or something.
He described how moving to the US made him realize how far underdeveloped China was (especially his region), which was wild for him because he thought he was comparably well-off
I see at least two cameras outside 👀
nah, being a sugar daddy isn't that much fun
I remember when YouTube was a niche, and Twitch used to be a sports streaming site before it got it's name. "No one is going to watch videos on the internet, turn on the TV and record with DVR" -- not that long ago
Niches move things forward 👀

This shit is hilarious, Taiwan regulators posts guidelines for platforms that handles virtual assets (VASP) -- for the sake of giving shitcoins a playground.
By their definition in section 3, these guidelines declares Bitcoin as not a virtual asset and none of the platforms should be able to list it.
I really can't tell if they're being genius (making a clear distinction between Bitcoin and everything else) or clowns (thinks Bitcoin fall into these guidelines)

I don't judge, let the dirty mind wander on another npub 🤣
please consider testing your zaps on nostr:npub1e4qg56wvd3ehegd8dm7rlgj8cm998myq0ah8e9t5zeqkg7t7s93q750p76 😎
your feed....😳 🫣 I thought you were religious

perhaps you'll find this helpful. Sounds like your build requests invoices correctly if successful payments are already registered as zaps.
You only need to add lightning URIs in order to open wallet apps then -- your client just waits for the event 9735 to show up that says the payment was completed (I imagine you want your client to handle the zapper and zapped user differently).
i just zapped nostr:npub1ne99yarta29qxnsp0ssp6cpnnqmtwl8cvklenfcsg2fantuvf0zqmpxjxk 5 sats AFTER successfully generating an invoice and copy-pasting it on nostr:npub1getal6ykt05fsz5nqu4uld09nfj3y3qxmv8crys4aeut53unfvlqr80nfm like a #normie
NOW , today, i need to learn how to skip all that normie activity, and open the extension automatically to carry on with the zapping. #zap #pow #progress #rosecoco
generally most nostr clients generate custom URIs that start with "lightning:" when discovering things like invoices or LNURLs to communicate with other apps. I was under the impression that Alby responds to lightning: URIs so clicking on links should open the extension already.
If the client you are using doesn't generate lightning: URIs then copy-pasting invoices is probably the way out (this was the norm before 11/22). generally when protocols used in links can't be handled by the browser it gets passed to the OS to find an application to handle the link. A way you can do this is create a entry for xdg-open to respond to lightning: URIs and set whatever command needed to execute.
what kind of reading have you been doing? 😳
eats the world, gets an orange hat 👀
nice hoodie 👀 did he finally stop shitcoining or something?

that could be interesting (seems to be an awful waste of compute cycles to filter out noise added for no reason), but what is concerning to me is allowing services to alter creator's content in this fashion. It's now yet another hoop to jump through (identifying and removing adstream) to get to content created-as-intended -- further deteriorates the legitimacy of these services to distribute content, generally
Adding (any) barriers between users and content is ultimately a bad thing because content should traverse freely. Creators seek to get the best terms to spread to the widest audience and be paid directly. The traditional models centered only for the sake of fiat-payments can only go so far. In a way I feel like the history of the internet will repeat itself.... eventually users and creators-alike will be squeezed so hard to move to alternatives.
