Exactly my point: art won’t be a store of value, and I’m happy about it. Everything will depreciate against Bitcoin, and that’s a good thing.
This doesn’t mean there won’t be a market for art or that the subjective value of things will disappear. I think it actually makes things more honest—people will buy art because it brings them joy, not because they’re trying to protect against inflation.
Do you think art will lose part of its monetary premium and stop being used as store of value, when #Bitcoin becomes widely adopted?
