Okay but "crappy algorithm means no influencers" didn't flow right.
Don't get me wrong -- I like nostr for this reason.
It's always the same. Influencers come for the sats, and they leave because there's no algo to amplify their affinity bait and titty wagging.

Maybe gonna low key quit my job tomorrow.
Yes. Perfect.
Has anyone used lazyvim? Good? Bad?
I have a duress pin for my phone. If someone enters it, the phone wipes itself. I hide that pin on a sticky inside the phone case, so some curious soul will do me the favor of wiping it when they find it.
This arrangement encourages me to make sure everything of importance I put on that phone is recoverable from the start.
Nostr is a non-starter for some people, because they are terrified of a place where they have no power to deplatform.
Those people have bluesky and X.
There's nothing that politicians can do about that problem except make it worse.
I don't care honestly. I think that much like our economy has become over-financialized, our public discourse has become over-politicized.
I checked the fuck out in 2016, after I realized that it was becoming socially acceptable to ostracize or cancel people on the basis of not just their opinions, but on the basis that they were not upset ENOUGH that someone else wasn't politically validated.
The one thing I really appreciate about nostr is that it spends zero times whinging about how everything would be better with different politicians.
I love solving the little mysteries and problems of a new house.
Last weekend, I fixed the garage door opener panel code. Previous owners never used it.
This morning, we figured out why all the LED nightlights in the skylights went dark last night -- they run on Ni-Mh batteries that charge off solar power, and it was super cloudy yesterday, so they all died!
Yup. They were pending receipt in Zeus. Thanks for the help.
