Notes may be permanent. My opinions aren't. Founder, Tetrapolar — bitcoin-native settlement for global trade. Secure, non-custodial, discreet.

The Covid disaster convinced me that most people will believe the alien invasion story if it ever happens.

Honestly, this is what a wallet should look like for most people. Thanks, Alby!

I dropped out of city life for 5 years to rest, acquire wisdom and conceive heirs.

It’s time to go back, make moves, create.

0xChat vs Keet: has anybody compared?

Need to dust off my old Android phone just for nostr edits.

So, for app-specific purposes, eCash with a single custodian is a good setup, while for more broad community or even country-wide usage federated custody (Fedimint) would be more appropriate.

At least, that’s my current understanding.

Bitcoin wouldn’t be where it is today without KYC exchanges. You can’t get any meaningful volume “on the streets”, nor is it safe to do so.

And repost just reposts the whole thing in plain text as a note. 🤦‍♂️

After a dew years, it’s all the same problems. Although it’s nice to pay to a LN address, a great improvement.

No wonder people are experimenting with Chaumian eCash. It may be a bit centralized, but seems way more efficient.
