Hello there! Better late than never! I invite you all on a deep dive into my June journal spreads, inspired by the serene beauty of the sea🌊 I think it’s time to do a breakdown and explain what each page is used for.

The cover spread usually represents the theme of the month, and sometimes it includes motivational quotes and a small calendar. Second spread is a tracker of a monthly financial cycle. Of course, one may use an app or a digital tracker; whatever works best. As for me, I prefer it this way.

It’s really easy to write down all essential expenses, incomes, and divide spendings into categories.

The next spread is a month at a glance: a to-do list with main tasks that need to be done, and a calendar where I enter appointments and smaller tasks. Some people have separate pages for a week or even a day, that’s good too. Overall, it’s super convenient to keep it together😊

And the last spread is for tracking habits and mood. I’ve noticed that the more habits I try to plant, the harder it is to follow them. So always start with a small number and increase it at your comfort. Just remember that you are doing it for yourself. And the mood tracker is just for fun I guessšŸ˜„ Time spent playing with favorite colors is never wasted.

So what do you think? Would you try this type of planning and journalling? Or have you, already?

Cheers y’all, and see you soon with my next month’s journal spreads.

Hello, beautiful people 🄰

Hope you all are doing fine!

So, let me say a few words about bullet journalling.

The Bullet Journal method of journalling is created by Ryder Carrol. It’s a brilliant method of planning and organizing, contemplating and reflecting. The art of the goal setting, one might say. I say, it’s much more than just journaling. With Ryder’s own words, it’s the way of ā€œtracking the past, ordering the present and designing the futureā€. There is an original ā€œBullet Journal Methodā€ book, that explains the approach, plus tons of podcasts, interviews, articles and videos on the internet about it if anyone wants to learn more.

While Ryder’s method is really minimalistic, without any distracting factors, I myself prefer colors and drawings simply because (a) it’s more fun for me that way, and (b) it helps to beat anxiety.

I’m not going to write click-baiting things like ā€œthis will change your lifeā€, or ā€œall your problems will be goneā€, etcetera. I just humbly suggest that it may work for you the way it did for me, and I’m happy to share my own layouts that have helped me over past few years to become more organized and productive. They’re super simple, there’s no need of special skills or equipment. I mean, if you hashtag bullet journal on Instagram, all you’ll see will be these stunning drawings/paintings incorporated in notebooks. And it’s ok, too. Whatever works for one, may not work for the other. We all have our reasons for everything we do. My journal is not minimal, ā€˜cause I guess my inner child wants me to be a little more creative, and I’m totally ok with that. In past it was though, and frankly, I didn’t enjoy it that much. Day-to-day lists and time tables - what’s fun about that, right? šŸ˜„

Bottom line: with or without creative elements in your journal, this planning system really helps achieve goals, form habits, improve productivity, track what needs to be tracked and keep important things at a glance. It’s something that helps one avoid shouting ā€œoh no, I forgot to do it. againā€, which is why I encourage everyone to use it.

In the next posts I’ll explain the spreads I’ve shared already; and over time I will share more of them with different functionality. See you soon😘
