Yea spot on…as with many things the simplest answer is the best one. Stacks sats and stay humble.
I’ve never told this story before but it’s a cautionary tale so here we go:
My dad was pilot for a major airline for 25+ years. In 2008 right before the major market drop he received his pension in a lump sum ($2mil) and proceeded to trade his pension after the GFC making nice returns on Qualcomm and other tech stocks.
In and around 2012 he went down a rabbit hole of the central banking cabal and market manipulation which drove him to invest in physical silver and silver mining stocks. I followed his lead, I lost thousands and he lost millions literally.
His response to these losses were to become increasingly disgruntled about the manipulation which is real but something we can’t control…my response was to find a better money vehicle. I’ve leaned in on Bitcoin (even though it took me 10 years and many stupid bitcoin sells) while he’s still all in on silver as well as other shitecoins like Theta but the saving grace is that he still has one bitcoin from when he first started getting into “crypto”.
It’s been hard to watch them spending their golden years so tight on money and it’s a cautionary tale for those who don’t fully invest in learning about bitcoin as they become aware of the world around them.
