Angel Investing into #Bitcoin & p2p web Companies, supporting bitcoin culture at Geyser.fund Grants.

That 52 page article I was working on for the last month is being published tomorrow morning by bitcoin magazine!

I can’t wait until tomorrow and then I will be a real bitcoin thinkboi.

We hit the ice berg an hour ago and the trash compactor on the lower deck is closing in.

The amount of random people from my past asking me about random shitcoins has gone down to pretty much zero over the past year … but I just got this message.

It’s been 10 years since I spoke to this guy.

Interesting look into the psyche of people. He literally has no clue that bitcoin is different than crypto, he thought they were all the same just that bitcoin is more expensive 😱

He doesn’t gamble normally but for some reason he thinks it’s smart not to buy random crypto coins.

When I offered him some valuable advice and help, he stopped responding.

My back has been killing me the last 4-5 days…

Something’s about to happen

I just invested in digtl.co last night.

Digital securities on Bitcoin layers, done ethically.

If you’re building a bitcoin or Nostr business, you should consider using Digtl instead of angellist, carta or some other fiat cap table product.

Is this an AI generated image? If not, how is it possible

friend at consensus… looking scarce, bear market for scams I guess

I don't know maybe the client you're using?

Something we are really lacking here on Nostr is a Twitter grade search.

I tend to post a lot of charts and data and if can't even find my own posts with search, I can't see myself replacing my Twitter usage with. Nostr usage.

Anyone know how we can solve this?

I’d much rather see a Web of Trust Nip for verification vs nip05, where your “check mark” is replaced by a trust level (represented graphically in some way using the web of trust calculation.

Visually this maybe could simply be a number, or graphically represented using the gaming mechanic of common, uncommon, rare, scarce, epic, legendary & the standard color scheme that games follow for these items.

You vouch for someone by signing with your private key that you trust them, and this creates a trust score.

You could use use predictive market algorithms to adjust the weighing of a Nostr key based on the change in reputation of another key in webs of trust.

IE if a key early vouches for a pubkey that ends up being a spam bot, that key’s reputation vouches will be down weighted in the future.

This helps prevent bots from ranking each other highly to gain trust, and helps prevent scammers or real people with bad judgement from diluting the value of the trust rank system.

On the flip side, if a key trusts other keys that end up becoming highly respected keys, they would have an up weighting for future vouches.

When someone loses their account, they ask their friends to report the account as stolen or hacked and it down ranks their trust score.

Doing verification like this based on Reputation is a much more decentralized and natural way to solve the “check mark” problem on a social media account.

002 || Bitcoin Gamer Log 🪵 👾

Got confirmation that I’ll be resuming my Turkish gaming stream on BTCTurk’s Twitch channel on Monday.

I’m excited but also nervous.

It’s one thing to stream in English but it’s another streaming in Turkish. And with each stream I become more and more conscious of the fact that my spoken Turkish needs so much work.

On the bright side, it’s a great way to practice speaking Turkish in front of a camera to a live audience and a great way to create awareness of bitcoin games in Turkey.

Today was the first time I got the chance to speak about bitcoin gaming on live tv 🤩🫠

I’ve been on tv before talking about bitcoin but it’s great to be able to talk about bitcoin gaming.

It was super short but I was able to talk about the Zebedee-Bitnob partnership and how this is a great opportunity for Africans.

I really hope it springs more interest in a lot of people.

I also hope to share this message in the Philippines as well. But it’s good to know I’ve started taking steps to tell more people there about bitcoin games when I went to the Philippines for the Bitcoin Retreat at Boracay (#[0]). I’m so grateful that Pouch.ph gave me an opportunity to do a talk about bitcoin and streaming and share my experience.

Today I will work on planning out my first bitcoin gaming commentary stream and go live over the weekend.

I also have some testing to do. I want to try to stream using my setup on Streamlabs and get that to show on Vida. I did a couple of tests but I think I’m putting the streaming key in the wrong place 😅 I’ll figure it out.

I will also be working on my bitcoin gaming project and put together an outline and plan. Oh my gosh! It’s really happening! 🤩

I’m excited and I can’t wait to see what the future will hold.🧡

Mary have you seen #[3]‘s Vida yet?

Vida.page

I think you should be a brand ambassador for Vida!

Also re: geyser grants round 4 all about Bitcoin gaming…

You should apply for a grant, as a bitcoin gaming evangelist, I’d vote for you!

Is there a web of trust NIP yet?
