I picked up a brand new, top of the line System76 PC and sent it right back because of the lag in the trackpad and the quality of the screen. My 5 year old Mac was still a much better UX. Although, I am much more ideologically aligned with Linux (and use it pretty much exclusively for servers), the Mac UX is really hard to beat (IMHO)

Microsoft Defender somehow came back to life on my Mac and deleted my bitcoind executable 😀

So invoice.gerbils.online is exclusively used for mapping LN addresses to my LND

Once you set a domain (or subdomain) in a CNAME record to another address, all traffic to that domain (or subdomain) will be forwarded to the address in your CNAME record.

In my case I just used a subdomain in my CNAME record.

So, I have other subdomains free to do other things

I used fiatjaf's bridgeaddr (https://github.com/fiatjaf/bridgeaddr)

Note the Rest onion will be different from the onion that you use to connect with other nodes

I think you’ll need to choose which one you use. In my case, I set it up with my node’s REST onion address
