The mid-season climax of my husband's Dungeons and Dragons campaign is tonight.

There’s been all sorts of political intrigue and missions to gather evidence and build coalitions but now we gotta just outright storm the palace and defeat the evil cleric who had the prior Sultan assassinated and usurped the throne.

Ok people who like #pasta

As you may already know, I love pasta. But I don’t love farfalle / bow ties. However, some came with a variety pack of multicolored pasta (dough dyed with herbs and vegetables).

I always put a little thought into how the pasta shape and the rest of the dish will interact. For example, orecchiette cup chickpeas, thick asparagus pieces fit nicely inside mezzi rigatoni, wilted greens twist up well with linguine, etc.

This is one reason farfalle isn’t my favorite. I can’t figure out what its shape lends itself well to.

What are good and/or traditional recipes using farfalle? Bonus if the sauce won’t drown out the fact that the pasta is colorful. Thanks!

I thought phone numbers were no longer required to use Signal but that would be too good to be true.

You still need them for registering an account and the hash of the phone number still your "public ID" when it comes to the protocol.

The only change is that you can start a new chat by sharing a changeable username and you can hide your phone number from your Signal contacts.

It's still a positive step, but I expected more and now that I know this is what 'signal usernames' amounts to, I'm left disappointed.
