One thing that’s been abundantly clear to me as I’ve seen the incredible rise in computation, wireless communications and automation over the last 30 years. The benefactors of it have not been the workers as they’ve leveraged technology to get their work done more quickly and efficiently each day.
It’s not like people suddenly found themselves in the smartphone and mobile computing age being able to go home 3 or 4 hours early every day. It’s all meant that they can just cram 5x the number of operations or calls into an ever lengthening workweek. It’s horseshit.
Thought it was from a plane for a minute

Totally looked like the view on exit from a jump plane lol
One of our guys using a 5:1 and a 50m work line with two ground men on it to pull a big Spruce opposite the direction of the lean. I figured for sure he was going to have to climb it, but they torqued it over away from the customer’s cabin in one shot. Using the new Stihl 500i. 🤙🏽🌲

Yeah the Chev Silverado Elevation they gave me for work and personal is heavily Googleified. Had to turn as much of it off as possible and it’s still bugging me every time I start up to let it DL all of my contacts to Google. Annoying.
Just a fresh start with new personal rules for always connecting through TOR and not doxxing myself. I just refollowed everyone with this new one. I don’t really care about reach.
This post is from my new npub. I will be retiring the original shortly. See you on the other side.
