Watered the mulberry cuttings Im workin on propagating. 7 out of the 92 cuttings got yanked. More room in those containers for the survivors to root out. Most containers had at least one cutting that was showing new growth indicating rooting action below the surface in the soil free mixture of perlite, vermiculite, and sphagnum peat moss. 
Tonight’s carrot addition to the store bought salad kit. Eventually I hope to be able to assemble full salads with things gathered only from my backyard although I think I might use store bought dressing or a mix 😅.

I’ve been satisfied with my Victorinox Swiss Tool multitool. They did a really good job with it in my opinion. I’ve had it for almost a decade at this point. Only thing I’ve had go wrong with it is the leather sheath it came with wore out. I contacted Victorinox and they sent me a better sheath free of charge.
I used to carry folders but I’ve switched within the last year. I like the skeletal design of the Skallywag Tactical mdv1. Every bit of the geometry was designed that way intentionally. D2 tool steel. Rhino sheath design enables a number of carrying options including pocket carry and horizontal belt carry.

Mixed a bunch of carrot greens, garden spinach, and carrot roots with a store bought salad. Makes the salad have more variety that way.

Carrots are starting to develop some nice, roots. They have that juiciness you get from produce you just harvested yourself. They’re almost sweet. 
Found some of that around this time last year with some friends. Tasty 😋
