Excellent analysis.
Imho Bitkey has points of failure, open to breaches and hacks. Additionally, I am uncomfortable with Bitkey holding the 3rd key. Unfortunately, "not your key, not your wallet." "Not your wallet, not your coin."
They need to revamp and make it 100% fail-proof.
We have reason to be skeptical. However, let's give nostr:npub1kn46h7nt2yrtuf0g9v5wp38k5amqqhytg4qxxhp2t0w9psf3ethqxcynhm a moment. He is making some progress and going in the right direction.

Would you kiss a girl whose mouth looked like that??? haha
Note the Dentist himself points to the health disadvantages from all the adhesives and hygiene implications from bacterial and plaque build up. These guys better be brushing their teeth 24/7 lol
As a user, Primal is clearly the frontrunner. However, some of these clients are NOT functional, as of recently are slacking, and are unusable. I agree with nostr:npub180cvv07tjdrrgpa0j7j7tmnyl2yr6yr7l8j4s3evf6u64th6gkwsyjh6w6 post yesterday re wasting Jack's money, and calling some developers "opportunists." I would highly recommend initially screening these developers for actual programming/coding skills and view their past work. And just like any other job, these developers FIRST need to work, perform, and deliver, before they get compensated. And not the other way around. Perhaps compensating developers via a "piece work" system is the optimal way to produce tangible results. Otherwise, these developers take the bounty and run.
As an HR Analyst, and having my own corporations, I would NOT continue to compensate several of these clients, because they are underperforming and add NO value.

People might think there’s fierce competition between nostr clients, but that’s not the case. It’s not Primal vs. Damus. It’s Primal AND Damus AND Amethyst AND Snort AND Coracle AND countless others.
Believe me when I say it: Nostr UX is going to get insanely great. We will blow the legacy web out of the water.

Also because of this incident I've decided to not offer any more bounties and I'm looking for better ways to spend Jack's money to make Nostr better.
Bounties are too easy to exploit with some crap delivered by opportunists that just want to make a quick buck instead of by someone who actually cares about making a good product for the common good -- and having objective criteria for bounties is impossible.
I thought this time it would work because I had a clearly subjective criteria, but that can also be exploited too by the creation of drama, so there is no way.
If you have suggestions of how to put Jack's money into good use for the benefit of Nostr please let me know. Message me on https://t.me/fiatjaf (Nostr DMs don't work).
Well said❗❗❗
Traders aka traitors. They were never into Bitcoin for the right reasons.
G afternoon Jack.
Yes. Primal works.
However all the other clients are totally dysfunctional.

Pub Keys do not match, etc, etc, etc.
Lot of work needs to be done.
