Also can really recommend this one

Ofcourse,
I can basically recommend anything I've read from him for now. He has a vast understanding of the world that still feels relevant today, may I say increasingly relevant om certain topics. I can definitely recommend his recordings too but this piece is a good starting point.
May he have intrigued you, there is other stuff on Mises.org as well that is worth a read.
Hell yeah, change - just like bitcoins price - happens at the margins. I despise the gentrifiers too, they destroyed too many beautiful skate spots, but we do need them too. Without them we have no one to push our advancements in culture to, and without them adopting we wouldn't be motivated to go on to discover new things. We despise the mainstream but without them we wouldn't be on the margin.
This! A large part of new adopters haven't followed the first principle thinking all the way till the root. They'll be selling their bitcoin for fiat, wasting their chances at building a world as they see fit. This is bullish for the future of the true bitcoiners building a better world. Lettuce hands will be shaken out.
The only intellectual property that exists are the 12 words in my head
Yes new movies and myths based on bitcoin. Satoshis private key as the fountain of youth/philosopher stone/the holy grail for example.
We need to work around existing IP by developing new, open and decentralized 'IP'. IP is a fiat scam in my opinion.
Time to decentralize the Hollywood film industry!
Maybe some implementation of max keisers model would be possible (Hollywood stock exchange) to crowdfund bitcoin movies?
Thanks, I will definitely shoot you a message! In the meantime I'll keep my eyes open for career opportunities. Talking about that, anyone already created a linkedin like terminal for nostr? #workstr anyone?
I worked at a surf camp in the kitchen last year. My surf journey is still a long way ahead of me before I could be an instructor. However, I don't know if I would enjoy teaching surfing. Surfing is time purely for me to connect to myself and the elements, not a 'job' by which it could lose it's magic. There is no better feeling than being alone in the ocean (or together alone).
Thank you very much for you're response though! The video inspired me to ask a whole lot more questions to myself today. Time to put nostr down for now and see what new seeds will sprout while I'm catching some sun rays.
I always find it difficult to describe my skills without feeling like I have to use hollow fiat CV speak but here's my honest try:
I'd say I'm analytically strong but never went deeper than applied thermodynamics and basic statistics, and, although I find both very fascinating, and have natural talent for it, I wouldn't be top of the class in those fields.
My main strong points are my presentation skills and my ability to convey new information, also, I am a quick learner and creative thinker. Linking new insights and information comes naturally and I enjoy thinking of ways to implement those thoughts. I function well in high stress situations and I'm very precise, maybe to the point of too much perfectionism. I've always been hesitant to actually move to 'doing'. It's not that I lack intrinsic motivation -I have immense motivation to dedicate my energy and human resources to Bitcoin- but I find it hard to make actual decisions based on the options I have in front of me.
As far as a mentor, I don't have one and I do feel that I need one. Right now, I'm reading and listening to people I find interesting and try to find guidance in that, but it is not a real substitute. I sometimes would discuss my curiousties and thoughts with my grandfather but not as I would with a mentor. However, he passed away in 2020. May God have his soul.
Took a shower to think about this..
I love to bring people together, I love to teach and help others, I love to move.
I would love to work on bringing these things together, creating a place for people to recharge and connect on a deeper level. Creating a surf/skate shack as a basis for a community. Surfing effectively functioning as a Trojan horse to teach people about food, health and wealth while building a sustainable economy for the locals.
I'm stuck trying to find a job I Iove. Finished college last year and I'm still washing dishes..
