I'm not very techical on the quantum scene, but if Signal can somehow protect against quantum attack (without having quantum resources), im interested to know if Bitcoin dev's have a similar BIP in motion?

-Canada currently has 5 x BTC spot etf with 1.4 billion assets under mgmt (as at July)

-The size of Canada’s equity market is roughly 4 trillion

-Not factoring commodity markets except those included in TSX equities

-This roughly places adoption for this product at 0.031%

-US equity market is 46 trillion

-Assuming a similar rate of adoption, this could imply a demand of 14.26 billion (at current btc price)

-current market cap bitcoin 503 billion

I'm thinking the short term impact of US spot ETF approval will end up a nothing burger.

Bitcoin is a wild beast, and we are in the low interest portion of the cycle, so this could obviously change.

I ask this because I think the ETF boost will not match the market excitement for it.

It wont be a nothing burger, but in looking at the market cap of Canadian Spot ETF, its not like the availablility of the product equates to quick adoption amd immediate demand.
