It was definitely something I wasn’t expecting to do today. I normally stay away from the old rail line (it’s usually the first to open) until we get some decent snow coverage, but I didn’t have to go out for snow removal this morning so I said let’s do it!
What a treat it was and almost felt like the middle of winter.

Sometimes last minute decisions are the best ones. Wasn’t expecting a phone call from a buddy this morning. Told me to get my ass in gear, we’re going sledding!

Yep forsure. Way too many unexpected dangers out there on the trails and I’ve personally had a few close calls over the years.
Every year there’s many people that don’t go home at the end of the day. I’ve got way too much to lose and want to live to ride another day.

We got a light dusting last night, but it looks like some areas will be getting between 50-100cm through Sunday.
It’s going to be a shit show on the business side, but looking forward to smooth trails this winter. I think we might just get a good old fashioned winter
