NOS2X is a great extension to keep your private keys private. No need to enter your private keys on web clients as you're trying them out. Your private key is your essentially your password. You need to keep it safe. This extension helps. https://github.com/fiatjaf/nos2x
Big potential for this to mimic a Metamask sort of interaction and become the way to log in everywhere. It's great.
