Well... in the event dir, there's a nip but then in the kinds folder there's also a nip and other directories. idk maybe I just haven't looked through thoroughly enough but I guess that's what I'm getting at is deciphering the flow for adding thingd to the NDK is not straight forward.

Ya'll got some plans to organize this a bit better?

Ethereum is a solution to a problem.
"There's no women on the app!"
Then I'll take the L. But I'm now interested in looking closer at HTTP's history of development. Perhaps I can learn me sumthin .
Something that people think they control but it actually controls them.
What is physical (cash) fiat?
Whoops, I am wrong. I meant to refer to messages. Kind 1. Now I look stupid. 👏🏻
I meant kind 1 but regardless. My point is the older the nip, the more unlikely it is to ever change. There are some pretty old clients that can still retrieve short messages and profiles. Which is like the bread and butter of the protocol.
There isn't a spot angle client fully compatible with nostr anyways. There likely never will be. Amethyst comes close.
How long has it been since you couldn't listen for kind 0 events on web socket servers and retrieve messages?
No effort in staying compatible with NIP 1 Kind 0 either... That's my point.
Open source literally means everyone is entitled to it.
That's not to say open source things don't need funding. Don't misrepresent me.
Are you calling me a communist because I won't pay $15 a month for a social media client?
Why did you even ask a question if you're fishing for the answer you want and not the truth.
Brother... You asked the question. I'm giving you my honest answer. Netflix will fail because it's ultimately not worth what they need to find it. nostr will not because it's a protocol and not dependent on a single clients development.
Great, then I'll compile my own clients and everyone else can use their ad ridden ones. I do t think that's how it's going to happen but we'll see.
