Crazy thing happened to me last night.

I walked into a public women’s bathroom and said, “I’m overdressed for this occasion!”

A woman facing away from me but looking into the mirror immediately looked at me and answered, “no you’re not. you look great!”

So I started to talk to her.

She turned around and said “are you Aubrey Strobel?”

And I said yes.

She said, “We were best friends when we were 10.”

And I looked at her closer and it was my best friend from when I was 10 years old.

I had totally forgotten about her because she had moved away. I had gone to all of her birthdays, we had so many sleepovers, etc.

We were friends for years and I meet her again in a bathroom in Nashville. ✨💫
