Lets be honest, open data and no company would manipulate that? Companies would pay dollars for this data. so clients are gonna show ads to keep building their projects especially small to medium ones. Large ones shall do it as well for profits ofcourse but thats how it goes.

I meant same thing. Zaps are an integral part and should be celebrated like every other aspect of nostr.
What i meant was using apps is easier and faster for people but if nostr devs creates apps on ios, App store doesnt allow sending zaps which restricts devs from creating apps.
Also, very curious on other people’s view on making nostr faster. Is it even possible considering the open nature of nostr ecosystem and relying on multiple relays at a time to gather information about any event.
If we could build apps on nostr, more people would definitely follow. The reason I am not making an ios app although is because Zaps wont be allowed so I think you are kinda right. Gotta move away from zaps and bitcoin and then we can have people who eventually learn the other capabilities of nostr than just zapping.

memestr is definitely usable and enjoyable. It is a social network for memes and trending content and it is in working state. That means, feel free to play around https://memestr.app
Is it completely ready for seamless user experience? No. Its a work in progress and with time it would grow into a more stable product. More people are coming in to contribute and I am sure in next 2-3 months, it would be a well established nostr client dedicated to a special community of people who likes memes and humor. Without a lot of status texts.
