Just a humble user of #Bitcoin and #TheNostr, exploring and learning! #Austrich

I think the main theme of technology is that adoption rates will get ever faster and network effect moats will become ever more easily defeated. A constant stream of incumbents toppling in the face of new entrants, repeated over and over ad infinitum. In short, it's the singularity. I think nostr is just another piece of this trend.

We're stress testing the network all right. During zapathon, first time I zap it works fine. Second time I zap, it takes me back to the success screen of the prior zap. Need to reboot it to make a second zap.

The quest is "get someone to zap you some sats" - and you win a badge. 1) encourage new users to be social and make connections and post great content 2) damus doesn't need to front the sats ;)

Spring.site is awesome. I am bouncing happily back and forth from 10 different apps, doing posts, channels, communities, reading feeds, trending, etc each in different apps, seamlessly, no need to sign in/up multiple times. nostr:npub1xdtducdnjerex88gkg2qk2atsdlqsyxqaag4h05jmcpyspqt30wscmntxy you legend.

I seem to have completely abandoned Twitter for Nostr.

I think Nostr apps can attack enterprise SaaS and win. Wide app ecosystem. Default interoperability. Account and data portability. Cloud or on-premise. No lockin. Customers want this and would be hard/impossible for any SaaS to promise the same.

Paid relays! A relay can require payment to post to it i.e. only white list users can post. Can a relay require payment to read? I.e. only white list users can see posts.

Three ideas 1) I think there are many more powerful features here than I'm aware of (or maybe I just haven't found the definitive docs) it would be great to explore these. 2) Tips for working with other event kinds and tags, e.g. follow lists or zaps. 3) Tips for making great feeds, e.g. https://github.com/nostr-dev-kit/ndk-svelte-components looks awesome, it would be great to explore this too.

Most inspired I've been to code in a decade. Running through nostr:npub1zuuajd7u3sx8xu92yav9jwxpr839cs0kc3q6t56vd5u9q033xmhsk6c2uc youtube tutorials on Sveltekit and NDK.

I just added a few and then added Nostr.Wine and suddenly I am seen! Thanks Alby!
