Installed Muun yesterday, was immediately surprised that user can restore the wallet using email and password. Started reading their blog. Multisig, double signature, the "inability" to steal bitcoin, some encrypted archive with two keys in case of emergency (what will happened if their app will be discontinued/banned from appstores, they don't tell). Pretty weird and doesn't look like non-custodial storage at all.

Yeah I noticed some bugs - not loading nicknames, disappearing posts, undeletable relays, oddly working text input field. Common #Nostr clients' problem with profile page/settings/menus logic/follow counters etc.

But it's only beta and it looks way better than other clients I tried.

It's unavoidable imo. No matter shitcoins, fiat, commodities, stocks - everything better be convertible in Bitcoin and vise versa with ease. That's more liquidity and adoption. I believe many true hodlers heard about LN but never tried it, and now altcoiners have the opportunity to feel the speed and smooth of Lightning payments, and discover zap culture via Nostr protocol. How only-BTC exchanges and other artificial obstacles could help to orange pill more plebs? Often the real adoption of bitcoin comes after the disappointment in altcoins - why not to provide them easy way to change their shitcoins for satoshis?

The beta of #plebstr app is so good looking! UI is better than #Amethyst and much much better then #Iris. Here's less relays for some reason, but everything works fine at first sight.

If not #Amethyst or #Iris, what app do you use on Android phone? I guess Amethyst becomes toxic for Nostr community, so what Android client is better than mentioned?

Is Nostr somehow affiliated with wallets? Nostr is a protocol with zaps⚡ function using Lightning Network. Many 'centralized' apps for easy using LN is not decrease decentralization of LN itself. It's only risk for users to someday find 0 on their balances, the question of trust and responsibility.

If many people holds Bitcoin on CEXs or custodial wallets, does it mean Bitcoin becomes less decentralized? It's more risks for the owners, not for the network. Correct me if I'm wrong.
