Whatever you want. One sat is worth more than a like

It does but I know there was a feature like that on a client that wouldn’t let you go back, not saying it’s Damus, and not saying it hasn’t been fixed either, but part of this it to try to help me break the habit as well

Someone needs to make that into a shirt

In the spirit of nostr:npub1lrnvvs6z78s9yjqxxr38uyqkmn34lsaxznnqgd877j4z2qej3j5s09qnw5 crusade, I’m going to try going over to zaps only #zapsonly

True and the likes are not meant for the artists, I’m saying for the new users that don’t understand btc and don’t have the ambition yet to find out… the legacy users just switching over to Nostr is what I am talking about… it gives them a feeling of validation to receive likes which in turn motivates them to use the protocol, maybe have it so users can turn off the ability to receive likes and only receive zaps. If more and more of us did this and new users saw new artists that they like and want to support only allowing recognition in zap form, it may increase the likelihood hood that fans would adopt btc and zap them… it’s just a thought… the bigger problem is that humanity is lazy and unless they have motivation to learn or setup a wallet, most are too lazy to input more than a button click to begin with…

As good a idea it is, I think it would severely stunt the growth of nostr and inherently the reach for artists… unless all clients are are going to become a wallet like primal, just from scanning the introductions tag and greeting new users, at least 90% don’t set up wallets or at least not right away and only the btc community that comes over to Nostr seems to be in a hurry to set one up at all. I like the idea rather of opting for “zaps only” in settings

Good morning Dan, hope you have a great day ☕️

Yeah it takes a lot of practice, and I think last night’s went perfectly because it stayed separated almost to the end as well which I don’t know how that worked with the ale going down about equally with the stout when it is at the bottom of the glass but it did. I usually try to use Guinness Harp for the ale and then I drip pour Guinness stout on top with a spoon, both at the same rough temperature, but have to make sure the nitrogen ball in the stout has its time to work as well.
