Nostr is the protocol that damus, primal, and the other hundred or so apps run on sort of like the internet as you know it, but unlike the World Wide Web, Nostr apps allow you to read and write to the actual protocol level so as long as you have your nsec key, you can use it to long into any other Nostr app and you still have all your data and same followers.
They are good, hoping to get the birdcam going again soon now that the Christmas lights no longer need the outlet
