Make sure you don't light up a cigarette by that nice straw man you've got there.
Happy new year and happy building!
I liked lion taming
That's a great way to start the year. I'm reading The Two Towers right now
Apparently as a wee tyke, I liked tacos, but I made a mess of everything when eating them. My dad devised the softshell+hardshell method to combat it. In my defense, I was probably 3 and our tacos were meat, cheese, salsa, lettuce and sour cream.
The presentation factor is lacking though, they work better as build-your-own. Your sculpture is muy excelente
To be honest, it's one of those things I'd like to play with, but it's very low on my to do list right now. My wife and I are expecting our 4th child in March, we're working to transition our house into a homestead, I'm writing and illustrating kids books and working full time in telecom. It will probably be a few years before the time and money line up to make musical endeavors more feasible.
But since we're on the topic of music and metal, this is an album I did vocals on almost a decade ago. I wrote a good bit of the music for the songs "Fury" and "Inner War" as well as the majority of the lyrics on the album https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLaf42reShFFvIf8jfHy_B1LuvL7tWKfGV&si=DGMCCphCdp3pe7bf
Kingly platter sir.
Though I prefer a hard shell within a soft shell, glued in place with sour cream. Old habits die hard.
https://suno.com/s/LJYkq99uUAVR9PUI the first minute is fairly close to the source material. It filled in the rest of the song. I think the free version only allows a 1 minute upload and the original full song is over 5 minutes.
https://suno.com/s/4BrOIFwOiWoeMPfu this is the midi I started with. The reading I did suggested using clean guitar tones and letting suno add the distortion, but the clean tones blended a little too much I think, so it had a hard time interpreting some of the muddled parts.
One day I'll probably invest in a more up to date DAW and some better VST packs, maybe a better version of the AI can do a final polish or something. I've probably got 20-30 decent compositions sitting on old computers.

My prompts were basically to preserve the drums and guitar parts, just make the instruments sound real. A couple results were kinda close, but it mostly did its own thing
Nice. I was playing with Suno the other week trying to get some midi music I wrote years ago to sound somewhat realistic.
I think this one reminded me of a more polished Backwordz song, the lyrics hit harder too. I was listening to a few tracks while plowing the parking lot at work this morning, so I forget which song was which.
Did you track all the guitars and do all the vocals yourself? I really like the sound you got
Just released this one since the Nostr audience isnβt too keen to some metal/rock

I'm gonna have to take some time to listen to it all. Kinda reminded me of some of the metalcore bands I got into in the early 2010s (which is still one of my favorite eras)
Yep. My wife has a comforter and a second blanket. I fold the comforter back so it only covers my torso. That way my legs/feet can thermoregulate.
I think I agree, but it's hard picking a favorite
I'm currently rereading The Two Towers. His prose is poetry.
Can you give it to them?
I know the feeling. Galatians 6:9 was rolling in my head today. Don't grow weary fren, there's a reward for continuing in good work.
I already want one. Stop selling it so hard. Lol
