Nostr.net and grownostr.org has some good tutorials on how to do anything from setting up nip-05 and lightning wallets, to setting up personal and public relays
The best part is that it is more than social media. After you get to know one app, try a different one, or multiple. Currently on my phone I use fountain for podcasts, wavlake for music streaming, damus for my main social media, primal for my main podcasts socials, Nostur for various businesses, and Oxchat for DMs… on my computer I use anything and everything my getalby browser key extension will let me log in to. So much stuff to do here so just have fun with it. Glad you made it here

I work for a delivery company that one of the previous recruiting ads was, why get a gym membership when you could lose weight and get a tan for ____ while getting paid.
Control that one relay, put very specific filters on it that boots any spammers from it. Put a limit to how many notes a nsec can make to that relay, when they hit the limit, they get a message to add a new relay to continue posting. Have specific users from the welcome crew with unlimited note creation to welcome new users, answer questions, and can specifically watch for spammers that may have slipped the filters. This could actually also reduce new spammers from the overall protocol if they were booted from the intro relay before adding new relays.
