I would assume this can only work with an uncle jim scenario, where in friend groups there will be relay hosters, and friends can use that. There a little bit of accountability is there.

I think primal does not support paying zap splits.
Usually zapsplits could be done 2 ways.
1️⃣ Client basically handles paying each participant separately. So sender pays separately to n number of addresses.
2️⃣ Client only sends to 1 address, but that address already sends forward to the n number of addresses.
The first requires special clients, the second incurs more fees.
I think if they don't get offended by your comment, this post could have some positive implications
Also I think response time next to availability could matter. (Of course taking into account the data center location.)
They should make it a competition for quality, not pay anyone who host one.

I think you can use a swap service like boltz.exchange to swap onchain funds to lightning ones.
i wish i could zap youtube videos. we need to somehow get more people to upload their videos to https://flare.pub. stuff like how to unclog a bathroom sink could get tips for a lifetime. i used that as an example cause i just unclogged my bathroom sink and a 2 min youtube video showed me how to do it.
Can you just write the guy to setup a wallet to get tips?

I wanted this to work without any hosted instance.
What I meant is a bit different usecase. It is to be able to spread an app (PWA), after its hosting site is down.
But probably the easiest way is to open source it, and then even if it is taken down, anyone else can host it.
