Of course functionality matters!

But does this mean you pay now for services that are paid because of their functionality? Or you rather wait for free alternatives?

If one wants to accept sats on a saturday market next to cash, any wallet could be used as a POS to not pay too much in fees or setup cost?

Anyone have any experience?

Thanks! πŸ™

I did not do yet the math, but I was thinking about when you sell in fiat, you sell with margin/for some profit. If you are selling it for bitcoin, you would sell it for lower margin, lower profit.

Is anyone already selling some products or services cheaper for bitcoin then for fiat?

Exactly. Tipping shall not be the "norm" to say.

A tip is not a thank you! It is not acknowlidging the service. If you get a standard service, why do I have to pay a tip? Then what is the price for?

Tip is giving value for the extra value you got. If the other side puts in the extra mile to give you something extra, that is not average, it deserves a tip. But not because the job is done.

I mean, I don't get tips to do my job. If they want to have this. Let's normalize to give tips for everyone who is just doing their job... sounds absurd.

Cheers! πŸ€™

Good morning! β˜•οΈ

Nostr is a "walled" garden if you will. It is walled by the content that keeps the general public out. It is like a sw manual, that you only read if you already have interest in the sw.*

Have a great day! πŸ€™

*Of course not true for everyone, but I see this as general.

True! But I guess, it is the best if you can try different solutions to see which solves your problem the best. Also what I think, it is the best, if you try to understand what you really want, because maybe you don't even need an overblown solution. Somehow I prefer simple solutions over complicated ones if possible. But this really requires you to understand the problem, the available solutions, so you can select the simplest most suiting one.

Obsidian has a learning curve as vi/vim? πŸ˜‚

Thanks for the link, nice article. I think I will try Obsidian. I couldn't find so far the best note taking tool for myself. Maybe this will be it. Note taking is really powerful.
