what is not inclusive about Nostr? anyone can make an account.

inclusivity is an idea and has become an ideaology.

i've watched it destroy 3 Sanghas. i've seen it increase the number of incompetent people in various businesses.

for example:

someone makes a book club then in the name of (fucking) inclusivity John joins and lines to fly kites and in the name of inclusivity they add kite flying, then Susan joins and likes riding bikes so they add to at too ... sooner rather than later you have a 'nothing' group.

the major social media apps and media (tv and film) all cater to the lowest common denominator of 'society' (idiots). american TV writing and plots are at an elementary school level.

further, putting aside the filthy corporate advertising, major social media apps don't do anything without people. if there were no people on them they would be just still. the reason FB, Shitter, etc. are so bad IS exactly the people on them and how they use them.

Nostr in part is good because it auto-filters out most idiots.

I agree. The better position is Nostr first!

For our podcast we post to Nostr first and try to design our content for Nostr and just make it fit for the others. Still getting a hang of things but the commitment to consider Nostr as our primary platform was an important mental shift for us.

Unpopular opinion:

Not nostr only

Most of the people are on other social media.

If you are posting only on nostr, noone will know your nostr-only content on other social media.

So your circular of influence will be small.

Being nostr only is like building a wall around your content in a way, like other social media does, that you have to participate there to see.

Let's make nostr inclusive.

Let's not propagate building walls! Let's allow the content flow between people, no-matter what social media.

Let's have nostr only content TOO, but findable through other social media.

Let's use nostr for the things it is better in, and use others where they are better in.

We can also build nostr apps too, like google rating, tripadviser, etc, where people can rate, share, comment, talk to places, zap helpful ratings.

Let's make human interaction great again.

As Ray Dalio says,

"It only matters how people are with eachother."

We can make our lifes harder by making other people's life harder. Or we can do the opposite! It's on all of us!
