If you’re not seeing a lot about #HurricaneHelene aftermath, I get the feeling that’s on purpose… look how it refuses to autofill on #tiktok for the video I just made - which is me showing zero front page stories about the disaster in NC or the relief efforts on Fox, CNN or MSNBC… anyway, keep Appalachia in your thoughts, especially western NC where there are 180+ fatalities and many hundreds more missing. Roads are washed out, supplies are being brought in by helicopters and hobby drones and mules. Many hundreds of thousands of people are still without power 6 days later.

Sometimes I get real esoteric and sentimental at the same time and think about how they put us Appalachians in the mines to make us forget we came from the stars ✨🥺
