HODL culture trained our brains to fear spending.
Layer on a lifetime of ad based conditioning and a hardwired need for reciprocity, and you get this weird outcome.
People will tip a barista $5 cuck bucks without thinking, but hesitate to zap more than 2–3 sats on Nostr.
The fix is behavioral. Set a weekly zap allowance, measured in fiat, $20. Spend it freely. Don’t track reciprocity. Believe that karma will work things out.

Really improved Lists this morning, which we are calling "Cookbook". Quick click to save to default, or long press to add to curated custom list.
Add recipe-based cover images (uses first recipe or selected cover recipe)
Implement cookbook store with NIP-51 (kind 30001) support
Add SaveButton component for quick-saving recipes
Create cookbook landing page and individual collection views
Add Change Cover modal for selecting recipe images as covers
Remove default icon.png, use recipe images for all collections
Add server-side redirects for backward compatibility
Update navigation to use Cookbook instead of Bookmarks/Lists"
Also, testing video upload from the community section with this update post.
