Beautiful offspring

Got the pups a booster seat so they can see out the window when we go for drives and I am so excited for them

Well that COVID reprieve did not last long. My hospital is back with it’s biggest outbreak ever. Back in the duckbill. Hopefully just a weird fluke linked to one patient transport centre

I had to screenshot it and enlarge the image. I thought y’all posting flies

And he has to share our flat with his brother, Fabio the Chihuahua #dogsofnostr, who would hate to be left off any list

Perhaps a bit like this but nostr based https://www.qld.gov.au/health/contacts/advice/13health ? - from memory the referral rate for this to ED/urgent care was really high, but an MD could provide a more nuanced triage than an RN.

Can’t see any doctors directly accepting bitcoin in my area, so maybe a legit gap in service.

Was thinking if you offer over-border advice, might be good for folk who can’t or not comfortable seeking info in their home town, like family planning, harm minimization.

Hope your project is a success, I’m always keen to see access to healthcare widen

I made this shortcut on #iOS for trying to automate #image resizing and upload for Damus. It’s not bad but if anyone can optimise it or work out how to automate the last few steps let me know.

#wip update, 2135 words done. Thought last week I was working 6/7 but turns out it’s this week 😭 Total 40k now!

Tried to be more deliberate with my scene anatomy, which I think is paying off. (Like I have a blog post open called ‘how to write a good scene’ and I follow it step by step like a total baby.)

New sit-stand desk arrived but not yet put together. Tried to order a Sayl chair but still waiting for the quote because it’s very important I have one in green. My whole body is one mild ache, not sure if I should blame #keto or trying to write on the coffee table or long COVID or getting older.

Anyway, it takes 90 minutes to walk to work, which is when I do most of my thinking/plot problem solving, so I guess lots of that this week.

The #pomeranian is broken and has been SO LOUD all week, but I’m trying not to hate on the poor guy, it’s hot here and we can only go on short walks.

#writing

As a consumer I’d be probably scared of data retention, even appointment requests. With the protocol I don’t think I can even delete a typo. I wouldn’t have to give you my real name, but that would limit your ability to provide referrals/Rx.

Would you be combining with some sort of video-chat?

I’d probably want to know what protections I have, what reassurances you’re licensed etc just like in-office

Assuming 100% private billing, no rebates so that part might work well for those without access to subsidized medicine.

As a provider in a different country I think it would be challenging to get green-light from legal (Australia you’re probably looking at a dozen or so pieces of legislation, plus indemnity insurance)

Probably have too good access where I am, (subsidized telehealth, free ED, free nurse run hotlines etc) but can see potential in other parts of the world or if you offered a very specialist expertise

I couldn’t tune the classical music station on the radio this morning before I left, so the poor pups have been left with country and western for the whole day😭

These bad boys need a whole bag of cheese waved in front of their face as a bribe to take their anti-parasite tablets, little pricks.

Considering changing over to a spot on, but the only one that is as good for paralysis tick is $$$

It’ll probably all in end up in the desk motor!

Corgis were my dream dog, but we live in a tiny apartment so we had to downscale a bit. Turns out the Pomeranian is twice as loud as I remember our childhood corgi being! 😭😂

Oh, I wish I had a better library app than Goodreads to make a pretty picture.

Reading some books to help out the other members of my writing group. Still don’t know if I understand Maas’s success, but at least I can tick that off the list. ‘I’m Glad My Mom Died’ was another buzzy book, but actually was very readable. The 100 year life one wasn’t great non-fiction, but strangely comforting to someone who has had multiple careers and planning on more

Ordered a new sit-stand desk. #Pomeranians are useless when it comes to furniture construction, I gotta say.

He’s very handsome! ‘Such big ears you have’.
