it is extremely rare to see note deleted by relays

additional information that may or may not be of interest follows.

here are few exceptions where note sent may not be visible:

- client software is not using same relays where the note was sent and the note has not been propagated to the relays used by client software

- different client implementations may not always work as expected. many clients contain bugs or missing features causing note to not be visible

- attachments may be uploaded to centralized servers, in which case even if note stays on relays, attachment may be deleted by file host service

- spam filter caches note. relays do spam filtering and may not propagate notes detected as spam. this happens for example if sending similar content notes at too high rate

- reporting. some clients allow reporting notes. it is up to client implementation and your social graph how these reported notes are handled

some clients display indicator where you can see on which relays note was found from. for example coracle.social and amethyst show this information.
