Wasabi are bad actors in the space. they work with chainalysis their mixer was proven to reuse change and as result could be deanonymized multiple times.
Whirlpool keeps the change and mixed coins on different wallets, the only thing you should take care of is to remix multiple times (it's free) and use your own node, I recommend Sparrow wallet.
