I always liked Pragha because you can use your folder structure instead of tags for organization.

Right now, until #System76 Cosmic comes and shows me differently, I feel #Ubuntu 24.04 with #Omakub from DHH is the best #Linux setup out there.

I’ve been using JellyFin for my movie collection for some time. I just realized I could install Plex on my WD MyCloud. This frees up a machine for me, which I can use for Umbrel now. I hope the performance is good. I’ll test it for a few days.

At this time I don't have the hardware or resources to have a #lightning / #bitcoin node in-house. Is there a safe and economical way to host one on a VPS or something?

I'm shopping for music streaming services, I want cross platform. I've never wanted YouTube music, but I see a lot of value on commercial free YouTube,... I like tidal also, but it's not great with discovery...

I installed #iOS18 beta and it looks like autofill settings for third party password managers have been removed, with the #Apple password manager taking over completely. No #Proton or #1Password . You can’t switch to them… it looks like I will be moving to Android this week.

I use 1Password to manage ssh keys to make it easy to jump machines or #linux distros. Is there another tool I can use to do the same. I actually use nostr:npub18q57qr3t07qljnapzqldaqa7ru2qwfpfnjdrwvhk327n3sc82f0qqwrs6f for passwords so 1Password is only used for keys.

My Proton subscription ends in September, and I'm considering just self-hosting. I haven't sent an encrypted email to anyone in years. Simple login is the one service I use the most from their suite.

Tried out Omakub with a new #Ubuntu install. It makes a fancy default #web and #ruby #dev environment. I like how it turns out, it even makes Gnome nice. It’s a script made by DHH.
