You need to plug in the info for your node/backend in the form and choose your address.
It’s because Cash App doesn’t support LNURL or Lightning Addresses. I’ve tried but they seem to not believe it has merit.

I think it’s whether the pubkey has a nip05 Alias established or not.
It’s almost as if Twitter could have listened when we spoke to their product team and done the same - integrate LNAddress and support all providers/users, instead of adding a single vendor creating lock in.

How is Damus calling the URI? Is it “lightning:andre@zbd.gg”? There may be wallets that don’t handle this. Tbh it wasn’t “part of spec” but who knows! I’ll look to add it to ZBD if it doesn’t already handle it.
Lightning Addresses don’t REALLY work though. The LNURLs do however. Is it the wallet clients not handling it properly?
